Classes for Kids

HOCUS & POCUS  These classes will teach your child their first magic tricks. No prior experience is needed. At the end of each class, your child will be ready to successfully perform several magic tricks and DELIGHT their friends and family with their MAGIC ABILITY! | ||

ABRA & CADABRA  These two classes are just like the HOCUS & POCUS classes only designed for older children. No prior experience is needed. At the end of each class, your child will be ready to successfully perform several magic tricks and DELIGHT their friends and family with their MAGIC ABILITY!.

Fundamental Classes
These classes are an introduction to each type of magic which will give you a a solid foundation on which to build your skills. You will learn proper techniques as well as performance skills. You will leave these classes with several tricks which you will be ready to perform, as well as basic moves which you will be able to build upon. These classes are suitable both for those with no experience and those who have some magic experience.
FUN WITH MAGIC  This class is designed to give you a solid foundation in magic by teaching you the FUN-DAMENTAL moves used in most magic effects. It is suggested that you begin with this class before moving into the other themed FUN-DAMENTAL classes.

FUN WITH ROPES  Learn the basics of a great rope routine - make a knot magically appear or pop off, make a solid ring melt through a rope, you will even learn to make a rope cut through your body!

FUN WITH VANISHES  What is more magical than making something vanish? Learn how to make any small object (not humans) disappear - coins, bills, even the salt shaker off the dinner table!

FUN WITH BUSINESS CARDS  This class is for anyone who wants to be able to hand out their business card in a memorable way. You will learn several methods to hand out your card in ways that guarantee that they will keep your card!

TALENT SHOW MAGIC  Your child is wanting to perform magic in their talent show, we can help. We will first help you determine which effects would be best for the requirements of your school's show. We will then learn how to perform the effects chosen and finally we will work on performance skills so that your child is ready for a truly magical performance!

Private lessons are available for one on one instruction at any level from beginner to pro. Scheduling is flexible. We teach you what you want to know!

All students of Main Street Magic & Fun Company must have a signed Magician's Oath on file. The opportunity to do this will be given at the beginning of each class.
